My Drive Through Arizona
more off topic than anything, but some things I found amusing on my drive to Peoria, AZ with the GF this weekend...
1) there are no mercedes(let alone AMGs) in AZ
I saw 3 the entire weekend and zero w203s
2) I should look where we are driving insted of just "to arizona"
as I passed a little sign that said Glendale, AZ the first thing i though of was... Damnit! Hooley lives here, I wana see his car... The girlfriend was very confused as the prevous statement
3) Driving 5.5 hours in a Corolla is no fun
especially a base model with maybe 60hp? However getting 38.8 mpg at a constant 80-90mph and keeping the miles off the AMG are a good tradeoff
4) oh and WTF is with the damn "speed camera zones"
damn things sneek up on you when you're not used to looking for the orange signs
No pictures either... not that there was anything to take a picture of... except the 118* outside temperature gauge

For sure! The girlfriend's sister and husband live out there so im sure we'll be making a few more trips... maybe one in the Merc if I plan ahead and meet up with you guys

I was out bombing around town this weekend. However I'm in North Glendale off the 101 and 67ave area. Your ok they cant get you with speed cameras since you have Cali plates.

a year ago i was in Scottsdale visiting a friend and saw mercedes everywhere..! maseratties, range rovers, vettes, alot of exotic vehicles oh and the women.. mmmmmm, sexy women everywhere..! she took us out to this sushi bar i think Rae, great atmosphere and tons of booty..! white giiiiirls... goin through my miiiiind... the more i see the more i do...

scottsdale has tons of sick cars, and tons of hot chicks.....im not gonna lie, its pretty sick. tons of clubs and bars. heck, there is a reason why that handlebar song was redone to "scottsdale bar" lol.

I think you were a bit too far south. 
(I'm just north of Scottsdale.) There are plenty of MBs here and tons of exotics. Just the other day, I was right behind an SL63 Black Series.

haha i found the lack of Mercedes quite odd. Guess they were all in hiding because it turned into a "spot a Meredes" after the first hour or two of driving in the state.... to no avail
