anyone have a supercharger removal or intercooler install diy?
hey guys,
i'm trying to install my intercooler right now. i'm having trouble finding a diy in how to remove the supercharger. I was wondering if anyone had one or had a diagram so i know which bolts to unscrew.

Be doing some mobile service on SoCalCLK’s ‘55 this Saturday.
Let me know if you’d like some help afterwards.
Ring or text if you’re stuck under the hood tonight. :)

Pretty Striaght forward... Remove the intake stuff, Remove Intake Manifolds... Remove Belt from S/C, There are 4 or 5 bolts where the intake runners are on the S/C on each side on the long block, that need to be removed. You need to remove the Emissions EGR Valve things on both sides, then lift the s/c (Its a heavy mother, so be carefull) and that should be it

thanks for everyones quick response. i was able to get it off. i think i know why i've been having the esp issue.
i've been basically driving around with exposed wires...holy crap.
i'm guessing the wire maybe touched the intercooler when it was really hot or something and burned through the insulation.

i spent another 3hrs cleaning off all the old coolant that caked onto the intake manifolds, part of the supercharger, cleaned the map sensor, the y splitter for hte intake manifolds..etc..etc.
I taped up the engine harness. i thought about replacing the wire, but i didnt feel comfortable splicing into a engine harness.

does anyone know where the throttle body cable goes? i mean the bottom half not the top half that attaches to the throttle body.
I followed the top of the wire then it goes to the main harness and can't find it unless i cut up the whole harness.

It looks like your Intercooler is leaking. Coolant is entering the engine, which is not a good thing, also performancewise. I would test the intercooler with pressured air under water and watch if air bubbles come out of the IC-Core...

Unfortunately, my original throttle body cable does from the throttle body into the engine harness. There's no apparent plug like on the new one, so i'm shelfing the throttle body project. hopefully my esp issue was the exposed wire.

I bought loung14's code3 intercooler. The fitment is slightly off from oem but everything seems to bolt up.

anyways, thanks for everyone's concerns. Good to see there still lot of active people looking out for other c32/c55 owners.
I basically got all the big stuff bolted up. The hard part is putting all the little stuff back, like the little egv little plasitc tubes and items like that. It was easy to pull out, remembering where it goes, is the challenge.
