Used C32 pulley - fair value??

One of our members needs a SC'er pulley for his car. His problem is not the bearing but the supercharger drive pulley clutch is worn out. I have a used C32 pulley with a bad bearing but a good clutch. He will need to replace the bearing (which I think he already has) to use this unit.

What would be a fair price for this used part? not counting shipping...

When I replaced mine, the MB dealer told me a new part would be about $700 about a year ago. I went with a C3P pulley instead (which is also about that much).

Maybe PM Jturkel, I believe he sold a used OEM one before.

I HIGHLY doubt it, as I have been trying to sell the STOCK balancer for about 1 year now, for only $100.

With that in mind I think the pulley would net $50 TOPS!!

See yeah

They're talking about the S/C pulley, not the crank pulley (w/ balancer).

The OEM S/C pulley is inherently more valuable than the OEM crank pulley (IMHO) - as I don't believe you can just purchase the OEM S/C pulley on it's own... AFAIK it's sold as part of the entire S/C assembly. Can anyone confirm this to be certain?

yah i think you have to get an entire s/c assembly to get the s/c pulley. and i can tell you for a fact i sold it between $100 - $200. I cannot recall who I sold it to. I think possibly Forza or someone else. Paypal is down or else I'd double check my history to see who i sent it to.

NO sh_t sherlocks. I knew which pulley this discussion was refering to. I was simply stating fair prices, IMHO. I was however unaware that the SC pulley was NOT avaible for sale seperately. This would increase the value if true

Splinter where are you

See yeah

well in retrospect, i would have kept mine, b/c they are near impossible to obtain and when the backplate comes loose, i'm not sure what you can do besides get a new one
