Well let's see. My car is 8 years old and just hit 15,000 miles, and I'm 62 years old. At the rate of 1875 miles per year it will take 72 years to hit 150,000 miles. I think that C32 might make it ,but I don't think I will.

2006 C55 with 20,500 miles
Original Owner
1. at 3,600 miles - Pilot busing on Electrohydraulic unit (whatever that is) - car was leaking some reddish looking fluid
2. at 8,300 miles - valve cover gaskets (both sides) - small oil leak noted
3. At ~ 11,000 miles new rear tires
4. At ~ 18,000 miles new front tires (steel belts coming through inside of drivers side tire (wtf) - Decided to replace all four tires (changed from OEM Pirelli P Zero to Hankook Ventus V12) as OEM's were hard to find at the time and I was "very disappointed" with their tread life anyway. Hankook's were ~1/2 the price and I notice "no difference" in handling (I do not track the car) whatsoever
5. Oil change once each year - roughly 5,000 miles (do it myself)
6. Will be bringing in to have the brake fluid flushed (realized this should have been done last year) and will buy cabin air filter as that is past due too.
Car has been wonderful - a blast to drive and great looking car. I only drive on sunny days - car has "never" seen the rain or snow (thankfully have an inclement weather vehicle to drive) - thus the reason for the very low miles.
I am "thrilled" to read the comments from other C55 owners with 3, 4 and 5 times the number of miles I have who have reported their car to be trouble free all the way. That is tremendously comforting as I can look forward to lots of trouble free miles and reasonable maintenance costs along the way.

C32/C55 AMG
My 2002 C32 recently just passed the 140,000 mile mark.
So far no major problems, just a few little ones. I've done the Blackstone testing on my motor oil. The results were pretty good considering my mileage, main concern was the quantity of silicone in the system, so it seems that the K&N filters need to be cleaned, but I may just throw in stock filters.
Repairs/Maintenance done by me:
-power steering pump leak, fixed with seal kit and DIY available on the forum
-oil cooler leak, fixed with a new gasket
-super charger bearing replaced with an nsk bearing
-pogo lock fix for the rear passenger side door
-brake rotor / brake pads changed
-Plugs and wires
-Supercharger oil changed
-Shocks replaced (not by me)
-Various oil changes
-Coolant change
Mods
-Aftermarket radio, speakers, and amps
-178mm renntech pulley
-LET H/E
-SL55 Splitter
-K&N Filters, plan on changing back to oem
-OEM Bixenons
-Carbon fiber interior trim
-Aluminum sport pedals
-colder step spark plugs
-Needswings pulley saver kit
-oem flat hood badge
-CL grill
-Euro impact strips
-C55 rims 18"
Pending repairs/ Maintenance:
-Check a leak at the rear of the engine/close to the front of the tranny
-Transmission flush
-Differential fluid change
-Need to check my flex disc?
-May need to change various wheel bearings?
-time for new brakes and pad?
Pending mods to install:
-Evosport equal length headers
-PTE thermostat
-phenolic spacers
-separating coolant system
-BMW reservoir for H/E
-82mm Audi throttle body or E55 throttle body ported
-rear supercharger housing off of an E55, ported for added flow
-rear differential cooling fin
-rear cf diffuser
-rear cf spoiler
-front cf spoiler
-repaint my hood and maybe figure out how to vent my hood
-repaint my rims
-H&R springs
Mods wanted:
-Meth injection
-oil catch can
-quaife
-cams
-tune
-true dual exhaust
-clk speedometer
