dyno numbers today.. and some other things on my mind

If all goes as planned I should have some new dyno numbers today for you all. I'm getting a new map for the 168mm pulley and headers. I'll keep you guys posted. Also we installed a cool relay switch so i dont have to use my SC all the time. It should help with gas millage and decrease the risk of supercharger backlash from boosting all the time.

On another note:
will someone tell me when this modding fever will end? i was going though things i own and thinking. "I own nothing that isn't modded"

I was breaking it down last night in between MHP barbs.
this is my mod list not including my car.

Yamaha YFZ450: ported head, exhaust, header, intake, tires, jet kit. Its fast
Polaris Outlaw 525 KTM: all of the above
Haro Freestyle bike: rims, handle bars, brakes, crank, blablabla
Guitars: Most of them have aftermarket pickups
Computer: Ram, video card, new hard drive blablabla
Shower: new shower head, soap dispenser lol
Kitchen: new counter tops, and flooring
Girlfriend: Modded =

It just never ends, Even my vacuum has an aftermarket filter! and my lawn mower has new wheels and a better blade!

I say i'm done modding to you guys, but i'm not only lying to you. I'm lying to myself. Here I am like a true addict. I'm headed to Home Depot, and then to work on my car.

Please tell me I'm not alone with this cruel disease.

Now a modified GF is something I don't have....yet. Wonder if my wife will let me.hehe

By the standards set here, I'm certainly not as crazy as others, but am well on my way. The last car I leased was in 1994. I can't lease because I've modded in one way or another every car I've had since. Modifying the wife, well that's a much riskier undertaking. I will have to leave that to the young.

I say its time for a second vehicle and start all over. Hmm lets see, how about one of the 6.3 AMGs and see if you can be the first to supercharge or turbo it (better beef up the tranny though)!

I dont agree with modding GF's, ect-just find a new one (its sometimes cheaper....sometimes)-
I'm modding my master bath floor this after noon....tiles!
I so want to be in the room when your family has to tell you they dont want to lose you anymore-but this is the last time-if you dont take treatment-they have no other choice but to leave you behind (which sometimes is the best for the TV-some of those shots are priceless....)
I can hire a midget to play your little brother and cry a little when we are looking for you at the shop (of course you would hide there, where else?!)

Haha that's interesting. I had probably one of the first water cooled cpu about 10 years ago with the sansu water cooler and radiator for overclocking. That thing was crazy fast. Everything was limited by the clock speed of the memory however. That's cool to see that it caught on.

Independent rear suspension with Fox shocks. Is a very comfortable quad to ride. The handling is interesting, in a good way. If sliding around turns and wheelies are a must the YFZ is where its at.

Here is my yfz's sound video... And the ol' s500 sitting in the background.

I got one of the first ones out, so I missed out on the KTM motor. I was getting tired of my lower back hurting by noon when riding the Raptor. This suspension is great for my 40 year old back. Im looking at giving this one to my son and getting the KTM powered one.

This is my sons gaming computer. I have a HTTP unit in my room. Both have the Silverstone 1000 Watt full modular power supplies. I have quad core 3.2 Extreme chips in them. His uses the ASUS Striker 2 Exteme board with 8 gigs RAM and Raptor main drive. and 1TB back up drive. The case is the Zalman LQ1000 with all Zalman cooling blocks exept for the Striker North Bridge Block. Im using two Palit 9800 GT 1 gig video cards. It works very well for gaming. My HTTP uses just one video card and has three 1 gig back up drives for video and music storage and one for system back up. I still am going to customize his wiring when I get time. Im going to make them to length and cover them with blue and run blue glow wire through them. should look nice.

Yeah the outlaw is a nice trail sport quad for the Arizona desert trails. Its comfortable for sure. My YFZ beats the bag out of me. Yamaha's are known for very heave thumb throttles. it will make your hand go numb fast. Do you have seat coming off issues on you outlaw?

It's funny, I had this same thought when I was driving home from work the other day. I kept looking at people's cars and wondering how they keep them stock. I honestly can't do it. Even when I was a kid and had no money at all I was finding ways to mod my hand me down Pontiac Bonneville.

I don't, but some people who have tried it do. I don't know if its riding style or what? I think Ive had it come loose once. We need to design a new latch and sell it! lol I'm thinking about the Pure Power exhaust for it. We have problems with cracking down on noise at the beach's, so need to be carefull on how load I go.
