New wheels for my 2003 c32

I have the original 17inch wheels. I would like to upgrade to 18 in and would like to know if anyone has had trouble with vibration once they upgraded.
Thanks

You shouldn't have any problems. From what I've gathered the only time people have vibration problems is when they have to use spacers. The bigger the spacers, the bigger the vibration. 35 is the correct offset, so there shouldn't be any problem. Plus, if you input your car model on tire rack they only let you look at wheels that will fit correctly.

that's pretty much a false statement.

you would only experience vibration with non hub-centric spacers OR if the hub-centric spacer are badly balanced/machined

vibration has nothing to do with the thickness of the spacer or with the spacer present or not.

a non hub-centric wheel without spacer can also cause vibration.

frank's right on like usual. I'm running 15mm and 12mm hubcentric spacers without any vibrations...tested up to 140mph in mexico.

How do I know if the wheels are hub-centric? I plan on buying the O.Z. Botticelli from the tire rack. Will they know?

none
I dont think the OZ Botticelli are staggered. And if they are, its an odd size.
Tirerack is the best, they will sell you the centering ring that goes on the car.
For the money your spending ($1K + each wheel) on that wheel you can do better IMHO.

2003 C32T
Hello!
I have to buy new wintertires and saw this ad and just wonder if you think they will fit my 2003 C32? The size on the tires are 245/40/18 and they came off a 2007 CLS500 if that helps you in any way...
Thanks, Lars/danish
