Transmission slip on video

So this is what it sounds like in the stands when my transmission slips from 1st to 2nd. It just about slips in all gears under hard throttle these days.

Note:
This is a bracket race video of Me vs a CLK63 I dialed in an 11.84 and ran 11.87. I lost the race because I was sleeping at the tree. oops

I was going to rip it out Monday, but held off until next monday. Just dodging one of the holidays. My car would be down longer from shops being closed.

no sound on my tablet at work :o Only a 12.7 though for the clk63? I thought clk/c63's usually run around 12.3-12.5 stock.

I think that CLK63 ran a mid to low 12 a few times. Its a heavy car. It was also His first time racing and with street tires. Once that CLK got moving I didnt catch him, I would have need more runway. Da was around 2500+ feet so that takes its toll on an NA car.

The modified LX's have the same problem. If you don't have a solution already you might contact Southern Hot Rod. I hear good things about them.

Dang, 2500 for the DA? I guess that coupled with the extra weight of a convertible would def, take its toll on the clk63. The track thats about 15 min away from my house has a DA of only 777 feet when I went back in late summer.

I'm hoping with colder air, my new 18" wheels and tires I can break into the high 12's considering I had a pretty good trap speed of 107, but only a e.t of 13.1...

Time to save up for headers :o
