New Car Advice
All,
Having sold my car a while back, I'm thinking of another cool car. But this time I'm thinking of a cool car without the break-downs and massive depreciation. What's your advice??
Requirements, in order -
1 - Maximum safety (five star rating preferred)
2 - Minimum depreciation (actual dollar depreciation, not just %)
4 - Maximum reliability (no warranty required)
5 - Maximum fun to drive (rwd? steering feedback, handling)
6 - Maximum coolness (e.g., amg/m-series/rs-series look cool; lexus/infiniti do not not)
No particular price range as long as #2 is satisfied...
I realize this is not an easy list. For better or worse, I think the cars it will bring up are the Mini, Miata, IS250, etc... which don't seem all that cool to me...
Suggestions?
Thanks

03 g35 coupe...........02 c32 Sold
lol...most of the time you can only pick two out of your list of six. I say just get a used m3. Most of the depreciation is gone and it still has good resale value.
Right now there some pretty good deals on some CPO 335i's.
THe is350 offers decent performance to reliability, still no match for a c32, but good reliability. Don't get the is250....there known to have valve tapping problems.
Maybe a g37 as well.

2006 C55 AMG White/Ash
Cadillac CTS-V is stone reliable, screwed together well and doesn't seem to drop in value too much. A 2006 or 2007 is a better car. Might seem too big or the lines might not get you going, but it is a strong, solid, fun car.

335i has the most potential out of a non econobox based car. I was going to buy one but could not find a black on black coupe with navigation for under 40k at the time and I ran across a good deal on my c55 and went n/a v8 power instead Stock for stock its a few tenths of a second faster than my buddy's 335i coupe in the quarter but he just needs to drop 600 bucks on a tune to make 60 more hp :o
