I miss my car.
Under military orders I moved from Ky to Co and my car is at my family members' house untill I can get it out here. I have a vehicle out here I can drive but I miss my C32. So there it sits in the driveway and I cant drive it. Hopefully dad does it right and drives it once a week to keep the battery alive and the fluids flowing.

Carson is nice and the area is beautiful but the roads are terribad. So many potholes and bumps no wonder everyone has a truck. Even if you arent going off road you need ground clearance and suspension with a lot of travel.

Roads in Colorado Springs are superior to the dirt tracks (that people call "roads") here in Houston.
I lived for 10years in Colorado Springs...and enjoyed it for the most part. My car has been to Kleeman which was neat..they worked their magic on it.

My dad has a Subaru WRX that has been modified, so he has a pretty fast little sedan of his own. With the weather I dont think hes got any reason to take the benz anywhere.
Never been to Houston but I was stationed at Ft. Hood for a long time. Plenty of open highway around there. Between San Antonio and Corpus Christi the roads are smooth and the speed limit is merely a suggestion.

Missing the C32
I've been working in NJ lately and had the C32 in winter storage, so I can relate to your missing it. It has snowed every week since Christmas in KY. I finally got the AMG out this past week. Nothing like driving an overpowered rear wheel drive sedan in the snow to make you appreciate the 4x4 WRX, lol.
FYI - the ride west from Co Springs to Victor is well worth the drive. West of there, I remember a valley with a 65 mile long straight that was well like a ruler. Great place to top out the AMG, lol. Have fun out west and thanks for your service.
