I'm looking at 225/40/18 Front and 255/35/18 for the rear. some go for 235/40/18 for the front and 265/35/18 for the rear. So far i'm looking at bridgestone RE001's, there are quite cheap and offer decent performance. about 850 for all four tires.

I'm running 235/35/19 all around on a 19x 8.5 on hankook evo12 fronts and bfg t/a rears. The car actually had less understeer when i destaggered.
But i mostly went for the destaggered for the ability to route my tires since i drive 20k a yr.
The hankook are pretty good dd tires for $150 a piece. I'm probably going to replace the rears with hankook evo12 as well maybe next yr.
Tirerack has a special on good yr F1's for $220, which i hear is on par with michelin ps2's.
If you track you car a lot, i would go with the michelin ps2's though.
, front about 4lbs more. SL reps were even a bit heavier...Not sure if its me but i do feel the power difference between 17" and 18".Here are the before and after pics.
