i need my c55 to be as fast as these guys
build your motor, throw on a big ball-bearing turbo.
upgrade fuel system
upgrade cooling system, possibly switch over to air-to-air
gonna need to build the tranny
build the rear end
...list goes on..............
in my dreams, i've imagined having tons of money to kill, and doing something like this (and i know AHO would do it too)....
swap in a 2jz-gte motor and 6speed tranny
get the appropriate ecu for that
BIG turbo - and lots goes into that (upgrade fuel system, possibly running e85, etc....)
remove rear seats.
and possibly other lightening, such as CF hood, trunk, doors
maybe if you somehow can fit the 65 biturbo motor in there....but i dont think that will fit. IIRC, a guy with a W203 swapped an M113k in. it didnt fit and they had to elongate the front of the car somehow. i know the C55 has a different front end in the W203, so maybe it COULD fit, but idk...i doubt it. good luck with that.
I raced this ZR1 at the westcoast shootout event. I crushed it off the line.. Then by mid track it blew my doors off. That was when the RR1 was stock.

I've put turbos on many different cars, not sure how strong the c55 block is though. I'm more accustomed to cast iron engines and 30+ psi of boost.
