Ideal launch sequence?
Hold the brake and give it throttle until 3k, 5k rpm?
Just lay the hammer down?
Buttons on/off?
What's the word on the best launch sequence?

On street tires I was able to pull a 2.0 60ft, with more practice Im sure I could pull a sub 2sec 60ft. I did so by putting the car in Sport Mode, ESP off, place the car into 1st gear. Then do as TemjinX2 said by holding the brake and bring the RPMs to about 1.5K. At go time, let off the brake, roll into the throttle and feather it as needed to reduce wheel spin.

that's what i do, go into manual mode, hold brake and build up to 3k rpm with traction control off. i have michelin ps2's on my car and they slip a little bit, but it's the perfect sequence. i tried doind it with my old pirelli p zero's and they were up in smoke.

Sport
Shift to 1st
Rev to ~1500
Dont mash the pedal, but feather it until your at the top of 1st
Let the car shift itself

It’s not so much a 'sequence' as it is utilizing proper throttle technique.
Find a deserted stretch on which to experiment, and then head to a local 'strip to verify your newfound proficiency.
1.9x 60' times are easily achieved with this chassis, even on a stocker. To do so only requires practice and decent tires.

Launching is very tricky... I do not launch my car hard from standing but I did practice after I got beat by a newer slk350 back in the dayz.
1. Sport
2. brake rev 1.5-2k
3. 40-60% Throttle (Check n see if u have enough grip to go then WOT) Also depends on ur tire cond
4. WOT
5. Hit nawzzzzzzzzzzzzz when someone is faster than u.... lol

What I used to do at the track is the following:
-Reduce rear tire pressure by 7psi
-If you have street tires heat them up by spinning until first smoke
-ESP off
-hold the brake in and keep the RPM's at about 1700
-feather the throttle and keep it pinned until you cross the line.

put 3 more people in the car with you and just mash the throttle and go. no wheel spins.
lol...but seriously, don't bother putting it in dyno mode unless you have a quaife LSD because in 99% cases you'll just spin one wheel.
