Need new front lights!!Help!!
Hi peeps
I live in the uk, and i own a 2002 c32 AMG
I still have the stock xenon frosted headlights which look awful. How do I do a clear headlight conversion like evry single one of you do on here. I just want clear headlights to make it look modern, but still have xenon. Could i just buy standard clear lenses, and take apart my old lights. Meaning i use all my original backings and just put the front clear part of the new lights onto them? This way they would be clear and still have xenon. Sorry its near to impossible to get clear xenon lights after market for my car in the uk!
Cheers Mike

Explain what you mean by frosted? Are you reffering the the fluted lens or are your lens discolored due to age? If the latter then their are several good DIYs here on the forum that can show you how to polish them to like new condition. If the former it is there to direct the light beam and avoid scatter. More info required.

Hi there bud
What i'm trying to say is the front lights are frosted plastic lenses. As in they come from the factory not clear. Everyone in the states has clear plastic lenses, meaning you can see the backing of the lights, where's mine you cannot because on early models the plastic lenses to the light they came frosted as in there not clear. There not dirty, they come frosted. As in not clear, so they look old fashion.

You can't just replace the frosted lenses with clear ones as the frosted glass is what aims part of the light.
You will need to replace the whole headlight assembly, however aftermarket depo conversions will typically give you less light that your frosties.
BEst way is to upgrade to OEM true bi-xenons, but that will set you backk at least $1000.
or, get these:

There's plenty of threads about this in the regular W203 forum. Try searching there.
