I have a 2003 c32 and would like to know what you folks have found to be the best way to integrate an I phone to use for music. I took my cd player out of the glovebox and my stereo stopped working. So i plugged it back in and everything is fine. I have noticed in some searches people have mentioned an auxilliary plug in the glove box but I did not see one. Also is there anyone on here that lives around portland maine or southern NH with a c32. I would like to check out how your engine sounds. Thanks

I have seen a post where some one integrated an auxiliary plug by hard wiring the connection to the cassette player.

You could always upgrade the radio to the latest radio and you should get use of the auxiliary connection.

Did you see a felt lined plug to the upper right side of the glove box?

Like Mossejaw is alluding to, only cars with Comand have the aux plug.

It's prewired but it will only work with command or if you upgrade to the newer style radio 2005+

i have command, how could i used this aux plug for my iphone? id love to use my iphone for music in the car!!!

how do you access the aux port from the nav unit. in my old c230 I held the cdc button down for a bit

the SYS button on the euro NAV.

It's the SVC button. Hit it then scroll with the right knob to aux and click it with the knob.

so are all command units that have the whole in the glove box good to go? its all wired? I just need the ipod 3.5m cable?

I'm about to sell mine with 79k on it for less than that. It has an LET 185mm pulley, Renntech software, upgraded heat-exchanger, OEM BiXenons, KW V3 coil-overs, Quaife LSD going in this weekend.
You can get a better deal than that.

First..........You have a 185 pulley with Renntech Software? How did you convince the folks at Renntech to tune that thing
Second............. you invest 2K by putting in a Quaife, then sell the car?

yes I'm selling it with the Quaife. I'm not sure how easy it is going to be to sell this car (espcially after seeing people tell you you're asking too much, when your car is a steal!), so I'm just finishing up the few thing I already have, in case it takes all year to sell it.

I want an air cooled 911. Installing the Quaife wi help sell the car, unless someone want to buy a new LSD :p

Oh, I did buy a male to male 3.5mm aux wire/double headphone Jack thingy. Just plug it into your iPhone/iPod, plug the othe end into the aux input on the right side of glove box

And then go to comand, hit Svc, then go to "aux". Very verysimple stuff.
