if you searched for cluster problems....like i suggested in your previous posts to actually search for dyno mode, you would find there are many threads addressing this in the W203 section and probably in this C32/55 sction as well.... including a thread where someone is trying to file a class action lawsuit. do a search and you'll find it.

can't take things to heart on forums. I used to get pissed too, but you gotta realize the guys that have been on here a long time get annoyed seeing the same threads popping up about issues that have already been discussed.

embrace the search, then ask questions! Good luck

Wow, whole bunch of banter and no answers. There is a guy on the W203 forum who found a company in Europe which has the right part (about $150.00 shipped). I installed one in my C32 about 10 days ago, and it is perfect. I just posted on the W203 forum, so the thread is right at the top. Or, just search "LCD Replacement" on the W203 forum.

Another guy found a source in China, but there were lots of problems with those. Stick to the Euro LCD screens.

Well, we all tend to be a little sanctimonious about searching before asking, but the truth is that we have all made the mistake of asking about something before performing a thorough search. Sometimes the search itself can be a major PITA. . . I know that I spent a good hour searching threads before I found the thread that I directed you to. Good luck with your screen. There is also a thread somewhere about how to DIY the replacement. It is actually pretty easy if you have the slightest bit of mechanical talent. The removal install may be linked somewhere in the thread about the screen purchase. Check it.

i would be a jackass if i pointed out you have a spelling error in this post. if you've searched, the people that you are calling jackasses have created tons of threads to address and answer many questions and are quite helpful (myself included...just search for my threads).

it takes literally 30 seconds to search. type in the key word, click search. you can even search specific areas like JUST the C32/55 section AND W203 section simultaneously to find what you are looking for. if after trying to search for while you cannot find what you are looking for, then it is perfectly acceptable to post questions. it is just extremely obviously that you haven't really tried searching well as your two questions are among the two most commonly asked about topics in the c32/55 and w203 sections.

and as far as the cool factor....if you're going to talk about it like that, then that's just immature. you should be mature enough to realize/acknowledge that coolness does not necessarily directly correlate with cost. rather, it correlates with one's own values, styles, preferences, etc. and in addition to perhaps having a "wow" or "cool" factor to others, actually has intrinsic meaning.

if you're gonna come on here and rip everyone, log out and stay off. hopefully you'll just calm down and acknowledge the importance of this forum and be nice to everyone

Thanks for stating that so eloquently.

Cmon guys, lighten up. We all have the same goal here. . . enjoy our little secret. . . the joys of the C32

This is definitely a case where everyone is right and wrong simulateously. No point in hardassing a relative new guy on the forum. On the other hand, no point in the OP getting so defensive (and you are never going to score any points by reminding us how little $$ our cars are worth now!). CHILLLLLLL (everyone).
