ECU re flash

hi guys ,
i know this might sound stupid but i need to ask it to make sure , one of the tuning company's here in my country are offering me a tune for my car C55AMG for a very good price this company is very will known in europe and very trusted.
Now for my question they claim a gain of 22HP from the tune that they will make for my car if that is the case and if they are rite and true haw much would that be on a chassis dyno ? will 22HP show up as 22WHP on the dyno ? or is there some % i need to subtract ?

thanks in advance for your help

C32/C55 AMG
I think an automatic car, such as ours has anywhere from a 15%-18% loss from the crank to the wheels. So if the number they quoted you is for crank horsepower, you would be receiving anywhere from 19whp-18whp which is pretty good just from a tune, if it's 22whp even better, but you never really know.

I'm sure we'll have a few people chime in to say if that's a reasonable estimate on how much hp you will be making.

03 g35 coupe...........02 c32 Sold
yeah just subtract 18%. Most company go by crank power, since not everyone is aware of whp power.

Wont notice it on the spot, you need to drive it for a couple of days and race another C55 to see the difference.

Will do make sure you use DynoJet or Mustang and compare it to your stock dyno or other members on the forum.

Dyno runs alone can vary by 10-15% due to DA, heat soak etc. I've seen my own car vary by about 20-25 RWHP on a dyno (at Chicago Performance)

I want to chime in about the C55 Tunes. I have been hearing for years that they do little to nothing. Does anyone have an empirical evidence (i.e dyno runs) that they make a difference??
