C55 repair.engine,tranismission mounts

Recently Found out that my C55 needs some repairs at about 92k miles they all make pretty good sense 2 me. Heres the estimate prices i got

Mercedes Dealership
Engine Mount- 1004
Transmission Mount- 250
New Front brakes- 995

Mercedes Specialist (local)
Engine Mount-530
Transmission Mount- 120
Brakes- 445

Obvious taking my chances with the mercedes specialist
Anything i should worry about?

Engine mount shouldn't be that hard to do.. $1000 sounds a bit higher to me..
I was quoted around $550 for tranny/engine mount repair back in Korea..

To be honest with you, parts shouldn't be that pricy.
After the repair, no more vibration from steering, seats when your car at stop, in gear.

You can buy rotors for ~100 each and pads for ~80 dollars online. See if he'll do it for less if you use your own parts?

Wow, I'm surprised your mounts lasted that long. My motor mounts were just replaced at 37k. Trans mount was replaced already from the previous owner.

mine are going at 50k...they were great until I put my headers on and stomping it at the top of first gave it so much wheelspin and wheelhop that I think it did the mounts in.

I don't really know to be honest, mine were replaced under my CPO warranty. List price on the engine mounts is $125 each though.
