Man I wish I was there, we have snow here still. Drag racing is awesome, I used ta race my truck against mustangs and camaros ans turboed 350Z. It willll be totally different now with 2wd! There is a good how to on drag racing in the W211 forum.

yea i had a few people tell me that infineon is uneven and other stuff and sac. is the way to go. i'm going to go to some test and tune nights during the summer and just practice that way with my bmw friends. i'll let you know

nah my bmw friends are cool. they're the ones that got me to go to the drags. i got smoked by my buddies e46 m3, but i had a slightly (by slightly i mean .001) higher trap speed.

PRACTICE!! and screw how long your tires last for...I went from a 14.5 (accidentally started in second after switching back from dyno mode) to a 13.1 with just a tune and 19" tires...if your elevation isn't super high you should be putting down similar numbers...

I can't wait for the track to open up again so I can see what I'm running with my slicks and headers...

I pm'd him and I am waiting a response. If I get the tune Im guessing I have to go to the dyno or not? And do I have to have it re flashed a number of times? I have never done a ecu tune..

tim add him on facebook, he replies alot faster that way. every amg engine is obviously different so they're more than likely gonna have to do a couple flashes to get it right. as long as you're doing the dyno as well.

any of you guys willing to do a group buy for some long tubes for our cars? Theres three major companies I see around here and our engine seems to be old news. Im sure if one is willing to take the initiative for the right low price, we would all give in. I'm not willing to pay $3k plus for long tubes if I can get mid length for half that. would c55 and clk55 longtubes fit the same if they were fabricated?
