Congrats and enjoy! Did you get the full history of the car? At that mileage, I hope the valve cover gaskets and rear main seal have already been replaced.
How much did you get it for if you don't mind?

yea i got it for 17K, and im working on getting the full history. car fax only really mentions the tranny gasket getting redone. nothing else really pops out at me. trying to get in touch with previous owner though if anything he did himself. are the gaskets expensive cause i was planning on doing the plugs this weekend. are they subject go bad early or just preventative on that. the car fax says at certain mileages recommend maintence performed and it was done at a benz dealership, however i dont wanna make assumptions that all is kosher you know. am i able to contact the specific dealerships and ask em to look up their records? dont mean to bombard the questions just wanna keep her running like a top.

The gaskets themselves are cheap. It's the labor on some of them that's expensive due to the difficulty of accessing/replacing them (such as the rear main seal).
As for the vehicle history, though this should have been done prior to purchase, but if you did a pre-purchase inspection at a dealership, it includes a printout of the entire history of the vehicle from the VMI. It costs ~$100, but they do a thourough inspection of the vehicle. And since they put the car in a lifter, it's easy to see if you have any leaks, suspension and other underbody issues.

Also, humble suggestion - get the reflectors in front bumper painted body color... makes for a really sleek / uniform look.
Also, may want to change the grille and delete the hood star and go with a flat badge. It's up to you, but most people feel it makes the car look aggressive.
Mine is silver too, welcome to the club!
