2009 gmc sierra 1500, 2005 C55 AMG, 2007 SL55 AMG.
SLR 5.5 differences?
Ok wondering what the differences are between the c55 and the SLR in the Heads and the Tranny? And the difference betwen the e55 and the SLR's superchanger? Any help will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

E-55 m-113k differences from a SLR 155
cams , Valve springs , Triple tooth cam gears & matching timing Chain. Engine front cover. Oil pan
Crank, Rods & Pistons , External drive dry sump oil scavenge oil pump system. Harmonic balancer . Kompressor final drive gear Ratio. T-stat assy. top mounted air cooler for compressed intake air

From what i have found yes (reading on here last night) one with a supercharger and maybe lower compression pistons have to check clearance with the piston. They are made for boost, dont quote me but i think they are longer duration less over lap and not as much lift as the e55's cam profile.

I Remember hooley replaced his stock cams for e55 cams when he was boosted and saw no improvement.

Maybe the SLR cams are a little different than the E55 cams... Could I get more power from the SLR ones while still being N/A?
