Got the C55-Recommendations on phone connection and Ipod adaptor?

Hello,
Any recommendations on what to add to my 2006 C55 to connect to a Blackberry? Is there a decent kit?
Also, what is a good ipod adaptor?

i don't have one for i have no need for it. i figure it this way, my whole car is illegal so talking on the phone while i'm driving is the least of my worries. i'm sure it's good sound quality though, it's a direct fit oem piece. as far as the ipod goes, do you not like the aux. in the glove box?

I'd like to be able to change the songs through the screen but I could just as easy get a longer cable. As for the adaptor, cant figure out where I'd connect it to on the center console, there are no connecting points. Ill figure it out unless u know. Thanks
Btw, what mods would u recommend?

I had a MoBridge Bluetooth phone kit Installed in my car 6 months ago. It works very well. Fully integrated into the command radio screen. Here's their web site:

http://www.mobridge.us/compatibility...88/13210/13193

I bought only the integrated phone. They make one with an iPod adapter.

Cartronics makes a similar unit. They advertise on these forums.

Yes we have both... the mObridge and the iTronic. With and without iPod/Music support.

UHI install possible?

Thanks for the reply back to all.
Wouldnt it be easier to install the UHI craddle? I see that the wiring is there but not the craddle. Can it be done that way and safe some $$$s?

It is MUCH less money to put in the mObridge or iTronic.... THEN you are saving some money. The factory parts, including puck come to about $1800

OEM phone parts from a dealer and a puck from eBay cost me around $450 six months ago. Could have knocked $100 off that if I'd purchased on the web but didn't have the time.

The OEM setup (technology) is old. I'm not sure all the parts needed are sold by the dealers anymore - thus the reason folks are turning to e-bay for the parts. With the MoBridge or Itronic you at least are getting current technology. Its totally integrated with the Command system and you can also get the model with ipod integration.

I read the very long threads on this topic (there are several) before making my decision and ultimately decided to go with the MoBridge.

Just one persons opinion for what its worth.

Glad you did... we are now North American distributor for mObridge - so let us know if you or your dealer have any questions (assuming you did not buy it directly from us)
