rear diffuser?

So I was wondering where everyone gets their carbon fiber rear diffusers at. I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find one anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks in advance. Kelby

There have been a few that have been custom manufactured and sold by members here. I've not seen anybody been able to offer anything via that route for a very long time though. Some members have purchased the Ebay ones. Based on the accounts I've read they are of ok quality and fitment. Rear diffusers for the C55 seem to be a rare item. I would love to see somebody like EuroTek make some proper ones...

Yeah ebay has some, but I'd love to see a sick 3 fin diffuser versus the 2 fin ebay one.

If there is sufficient interest (and there does appear to be some) why don't we see if one of the sponsors here will make some for us? I was thinking EuroTek Motors as they have a proven track record. The only negative is that it won't be cheap. Probably something along the lines of $ 600-700. Just a thought anyways...

There definitely does seem to be interest. But for that amount of money, personally, I'd shy away from the product. Being a college kid though, that's just me. There might be, and probably are, others out there willing to pay that much. But for a piece that would simply be cosmetic and serve not real functional purpose, that would be too much for me.

Pay an extra $400 for another fin? Personally I think the two fin that I got off ebay looks awesome. Fitment was perfect...

Does it swap out or does it stick on top? Can't tell from the pics or ebay seller description. Thx!

I would probably pay $600-$700 if it were actually a FUNCTIONAL diffuser, not just a stick on for aesthetics.

Yes, 3M and two self tapping screws. The exhaust opening lined up but originally vibrated on the exhaust tip barely touching it. The addition of screw on exhaust side prevented the problem. Originally only had a screw on other side. During install you will likely have a problem with one of the sides not wanting to bend into place easily. That's what the screws really help with.
