Copper spark plugs
How many of you guys are running copper spark plugs instead of platinum or iridium?
My understanding is that copper has the least resistance, followed by iridium and then platinum. This means that copper plugs take less energy to create a spark and therefore you get a stronger spark and can even increase the gap, thus promoting a better burn and a quicker flame front.
The only drawback is that copper plugs wear out faster, probably only good for about 10k miles.
Any comments?

I only have about 15k miles on the C55, so the original plugs are stilled installed. Coppers are fine, and you're right they just don't last as long. But 30k is a reasonable service life.

thanks for the pic there's technically no thread on here for your car and since the OP had his questions answered i figured you should share my favorite car.

I researched pulstar plugs a year back or so. I DO NOT recommend installing these... If anything a waste of money and worse the risk of potential engine damage. These should not be used on any vehicle with coil packs.

Last I checked the C55 has dual plugs in each cylinder, so are you sure you really need it? As long as your regular setup is working as it should, the stock setup probably provides the proper flame fronts to create good combustion.
But it's always worth a shot, not worth the money to me though for 16 expensive plugs every 10,000 miles.
