I dont think so until they see the stuf they have changed. I have heard some newer cars will tell the dealer if it was re flashed and than put back to stock.

Thanks a lot.


My friend tuned the ECU and the engine light came on. (The car acted find for 200 miles and then the light came on).


The gearbox is now acting weird...
Could this be due to the ECU tuning?

what do you mean by pulling the codes? If you mean change the ecu maping yes. But the issue happend 300miles after.,the engine was runing great before

The check engine light is caused by a code. You should post the code on here.

You need to get an obdii code reader to see what malfunction code caused the check engine light to come on. Any noticable problems with the engine when you are driving the car?

Well once the check engine light has went off you will have it stored. I would do it soon because once you do enough warm up cycles it can be erased. You need to find at least a decent scanner to see what the code is. Also if you get your hands on a good scanner you can see the code and pull up freeze frame data to see the data of everything during the time the MIL was activated.
