Yeah, I don't fancy the chrome either. I might just deal with it though, my right mirror signal pops a fault message every now and again.

just saw that formymercedes is selling them at all and he charges extra to have them painted so i think i might inquire if he can just paint the chrome strip too...

there are sellers on ebay that sell them without the chrome, and the location light on the bottom is optional as well I believe.

ya Jerry over at formymercedes offers them from the same warehouse in Thailand or China or w/e...He said he can get them without the chrome bezel, but they dont come in 040 black only the metallic black version...they do come in CF too for $50 more i think...I just bought the illuminated door sills so the mirror covers are next on my mods list though!
