ive been out of it for long enough to not even know what youre saying. haha

its been gone for a lot longer than 6 months. I've been out of the MB scene since early 2011 but really havent been that active since 2010.

picked up a nissan pathfinder after that, then moved onto a ducati 848 for a few weeks till i crashed it 18 hours after my son was born. pins and screws in an ankle otherwise id probably still be riding it. after that it was my 95 eclipse thats been a project for 8 years now. then i moved back to san diego and was driving around a 90's vw fox. then upgraded to a land rover LR3 which i love but i still miss the c55 more than ever.

Totally know how you feel missing a beloved car. I have had a bunch of cars, but few I was so attached to as my Miata. After 6 years I sold it locally last September and just this weekend saw it for the first time since! Weird feeling: happy to see it looking as I left it, well cared for and nicely washed, but really bittersweet at the same time...

i too miss my C55 and how power was on demand in such a small platform (you'll appreciate the size of the W203 platform when you step it up to an E63) i felt like i was always in control with that fun little easy to control but plenty of fun car. the E63 is a monster on it's own though. i've said this before about the C55, but with this E63 i couldn't imagine owning anything more powerful.
