BBS LM REPS C32

Hey all,

I am looking for 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 LM reps that will fit my C32. The car has H&R with a half coil cut (previous owner). I am willing to roll the fenders, but want to avoid rubbing and spacers if possible. Hoping to run 235/35/19 and 265/30/19. Please advise brands/sites. I can easily afford authentic, but feel that reps are just as round. For those of you who may have reps and you want to keep it private, please PM. Thanks, Mike.

rear will fit but front will not clear the brakes, you will need spacers, depends what offset front rims, 32+ is ideal, 35+ you will need spacers.

So I have been researching for hours, and so far the only possible LM Reps that will fit are the ESM-004 (offsets 32/40) The face is flat on these, seems like a tight fit. I also found STR601 with (offset 35/35), looks like a slightly curved face/more caliper room?. ANY input would really be appreciated. I am ready to order, but do not want fitment issue. Thanks again, Mike

So after serveral hours of research, here is what I have concluded about the front fitment, I know the rears will fit. ; PLEASE let me know if this is not correct. If you have real BBS LM 8.5", your net offset is +27, and you wheel stick past the fender by about .125". If you are running reps (ESM-004 and STR-601 are the only brands I could find), you have HUGE spacers, and your wheels are sticking past the fender over .5"; no thanks. Again, ANY input wouls be greatly appreciated!!!!! Mike.

I have authentic LMs; front 19x8.5 ET32 5mm spacer, wheel is flush to the fender, rear 19x9.5 ET32 wheel is not flush, sits in about 7-10mm in, I cannot run a spacer to flush the look since the lip will rub on the fender. 235/35F 265/30R General G-Max, H&R coilovers front all the way high, rear all the way low. Rear scrapes in the left-inside fender lining, fronts scrap on big bumps, also inside, when turning on the fender itself, only thing I'm not sure of is the size of my spring pads.

Yeah, it's a b!itch, especially since the C55 is my daily and with the added weight of my kids and air tank/compressor I can't run more than a 1/2 tank of gas without constant rubbing.

I would assume much less rubbing if running 225 and 255?

Yes, the rears would benefit from a smaller width, but tire sidewall shape also plays a roll. I've read Toyo T1x(something) don't rub. Front the width isn't so much the issue more so the overall diameter. I’ve considered going down in size for the rear but I don’t like the stretched look, I think that even the 265 on a 9.5 rim looks stretched. The rubbing and scraping is tolerable and isn’t detrimental on any parts so I’m willing to live with it as long as I’m not driving with constant rubbing.

How about the Stance SC5? Concave 5 star, budget buster. But they look sweet.

I just tried to post pics, but they are way too big, I will post this weekend. I did order a single LM rep today. If they do not fit (should know this weekend) I will redo my Rodericks silver, or more likely, go for the Stance sc5. I need to get past wheels, my mod list is huge.

I did talk to stance yesterday, and they offer +32/+35, no spacers required because of the concave design. My car is silver as well. If the LM Reps fit, they are $600 vs $1400 for the Stance. Same weight, both look great. Test fit on the LM this weekend, and I will go from there. Thanks again for all the input!!!

I have the 265 on 9.5 setup right now, and indeed the tires still look a little stretched for my liking.

Has anyone tried doing 245 and 275 on the front and rear respectively on 19" rims?

I think someone had a 275 on the OEM wheels, I was going to try 275 on my LMs but I'm already too close to the fender lining inside and outside. I'm sure it's possible with fender rolling and a 5-10mm spacer. Which also in turn will flush the wheel face to the fender if it's not further rolled.
