Looking to upgrade suspension 2002 C32

Hello - finally doing some suspension mods, been completely oblivious to the scene for the last few years.

What should I budget for an aggressive street set up?

I thought coil-overs and sways? What brand and more importantly where to buy. I presume the suggestion will still be Bilstein PSS9? But if I can spend less and still get quality, sacrificing a bell or whistle I will.

Also doing something with tuning/pulley, but that's for another thread (preview: thinking needswings)

Many thanks for any guidance!

Bif

That's not a problem. It seems your installer knew what he was doing. To get the cross weights close the passenger side front has to be higher. I've weighed and balanced my car and the only corner that is significantly higher is the passenger front. (10mm) My cross weight is close to perfect and the car is predictable and fast on the track. So be happy you used someone with experience.

i'm in the same boat. I just got new mercedes end links (mine are destroyed and can move the front sway bar with your hand). About to order some tie-rod ends, and maybe a control arm (driver side wheel is pushed back so i think something is bent ??)

Anyways, i was always under the impression H&R coilovers were a good choice. I may get them. D2 and Tein or any other Coilover designed for W203's and not just the C32 you will have to drill out the front sway bar holes from 10mm to 12mm.. unless the aftermarket sway bars you buy are 10mm.

D2 being on the cheaper end of coilovers seem to be decent. As a brand i've read many mixed reviews but i have heard they make and cut their own springs. Made in Taiwan, but so is Tein and other "JDM" brands.

here is a review of the D2's and maybe some useful info:

a land yacht.
I have the KW V2's and couldnt be happier. The car handles tremendously better than stock and the adjustable ride height and stiffness is a plus.

I imagine that with some beefy sway bars it'd be a pretty outstanding combo.
