C32 amg EC 61mm pulley/tune before and after dyno #s!

OK, so I finally had a chance to get my car out to the dyno where I did a baseline run earlier this year! At baseline I had PLM heat exchanger (no iso yet), res delete, green filters. A couple months ago I added EC 61mm pulley and had ECU remote tuned, I also added NS iso kit for heat exchanger. This is the same dynojet where baseline was done. I did however use dyno mode where before I couldn't figure out how to do it, and last time it took the guys 4 runs to get the right numbers. I didn't want the car getting too hot.

Anyways I thought this would give a good idea as to how the car performs w/ 61mm pulley!

Before 293hp/296 torque, after 344hp/349 torque. Both SAE #s. I'll add it was like 40 degrees out for baseline and 80 degrees today.

Next up for me is NW DCAI. I think the airflow restrictions on the stock intake are holding it back. Anyone have a used one for sale?

+50Whp/Tq is pretty good. Any idea what kind of boost pressure the pulley overruns the supercharger? How has those parts changed your MPG versus the stock pulley? Any problems with belt rubbing?

I think max is around 19psi haven't really done much data logging. I did have some trouble with belt slip at first and ripped through the first belt. Replaced it and it has been running great ever since. I also had to replace a faulty tensioner that had been weakened over time.
Still, If I kick down at like 50 into second gear I still get a slight squeak from belt, but runs great.
Not sure about the MPG change. I'm sure it's gone down with the way I've been driving it! Runs really smooth though.

Regarding the belt: a NW pulley saver kit (http://www.needswings.com/Pulley-Sav...c32178181.aspx) wraps it up better to prevent slip. Comes with a Gates belt. Previous to this I bought a Goodyear gatorback belt that looks the business but havent installed it as the Gates belt hasnt slipped with both the 65mm and 61mm.

You think the goodyear gatorback belt will hook up better than the stock micro-v? I'm just not sure I want the Pulley saver kit at the moment for such a minimal amount of slippage. Also should I go with a belt of slightly shorter length?

Not sure: would check with Eurocharged about the length but assume it would be the same. There are a few threads about the gatorback with positive feedback (E55 etc) but on this one : " https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c...tine-belt.html " not so great. I would very much trust Longn14's feedback and or any of the other high post count members as they have most likely been there already. The pulley kit is more so for the removal of the idler pulley then to provide more wrap.

Did you replace the tensioner with the expensive C32 version or the cheaper NA version?
I have the 65mm pulley and Conti belt, seeing some slippage and a loose belt.

I've researched this a bit and can't tell what the difference between the two tensioners is, perhaps the C32 one is stronger?

Got the oem one for the c32, but if i were to do it again i would just get needswings pulley saver kit, which I think comes with its own tensioner. Mine was shaking a lot and when i pulled it out it looked disgusting. I still get a slight slip here and there but it holds tension all the way through 100% when im not kicking down in automatic. When i kick to 1st or 2nd i still hear a slight sqweak. PSK is the way to go imo. Upgrade and spend the same amount. Im kicking myself right now.

The PSK doesn't come with a tensioner, I asked Rob. Who makes the tensioner you got? I may go with an URO from Amazon and do the DIY belt wrap that is posted on the SRT forums.

This is the one I bought. I think I got it for 220 shipped. I didn't want to change the tensioner, but I'm sure you could use others. The PSK for smaller supercharger pulleys comes with a tensioner pulley I'm pretty sure but not the whole belt tensioner assembly. I could be wrong. If you look at the picture it looks like they modify the tensioner.

I am considering getting the PLM heat exchanger... was it a direct bolt on (no drilling / cutting) and easy install? Cooling improved?

thanks

I might be wrong.
but sometimes cooling will actually get less with faster waterflow.

It looks as if the 61mm pulley is no longer available. the 64.7mm pulley from Eurocharged is on my car and it made a HUGE difference. It'was the single most effective bolt on modification I have made.
