C32 ESP Message (No acceleration)

So this has happened about 3 times now and it's really bugging me and I can't seem to find out why it's happening

I'll be driving the car, it drives normal and all and then all of a sudden it doesn't go over 2,000 rpms and hardly accelerates and the "visit esp message pops up" even if I step on the gas all the way sometimes the rpms got up to 3,000-4,000 and it just doesn't go anywhere. Anybody know what can be happening?

So.... you get an esp light and you don't get any trouble codes or have you just not read them? If it is the former take it to someone that has star/das and get the codes. If it is the later that is what you need to do next.

Also I change my spark plugs and spark plug wires. I was told that my mounts were no good when j got my oil cooler gaskets fixed. And I was also driving with a 245 45 17 and 225 45 17 in the rear cause I got a flat and had to use my spare (only for 2 days and that's when it really started happening every time I drove in those 2 days). Just changed my rear tires and had them balanced. Still same thing. I guess it's stuck in "limp mode" i don't know

Not trying to call you out but I'm not buying this either. If you hook this up to a proper code reading system there will be codes.

No codes at all I was using a $150 Bosch code reader. As soon as I changed my tires I went and put the right amount of air in every tire, reset the ecu and its back to normal. Guess the tire size was probably a hazard and the car went into limp mode is what I'm guessing

Sometimes there's hidden codes that only the mechanics expensive machines can read. My mechanic has this $2000 snap-on minicomputer/code reader that pulls my hidden codes. My code reader can't read them.

When I had some similar issues, it pointed me to my throttle body. Not saying this is YOUR issue, but that was the only way to trouble shoot it.

Car was on limp mode those 2 days I had my spare on (2 different size tires) I got 2 new tires in the rear, put 35 psi on the back, 32 in the front, reset my ecu and haven't had the car go in limp mode or whatever ever since (knock on wood) I believe that was the problem.

Running 2 different size rear tyres (different circumference) will do as you described but it wouldn't have been limp mode it would simply have been the traction control going nuts due to the different road speeds of the 2 wheels and the traction control bogging it down to try and correct the problem.

This is why there where no codes in the engine management system if you had the ability to scan the ABS/Traction control system you might find it would have thrown a code in there if it was driven long enough continuously like this as it would eventually have assumed there was a faulty wheel speed sensor.

UPDATE Started happening again. Just now I went for a drive and it drove like never before. I was driving it like I stole it for about 10 mins. Went back home, shut off the car for 5 mins and wanted to go for another ride. And esp came back on. Ever since I put my spare on and kept it on for a few days I would get the esp message everyday till I changed my tire on my original wheel I put even amount of psi on my tires, worked for a day then esp message hasn't went off ever since. Basically how it happens is the car will accelerate to 4,000 rpms then ESP light will come on and won't let the Car accelerate and won't go over 2,000 rpms. Took my car to my mechanic to have it checked out and will post soon after I get the car back
