C32 and 98 C5 Vert
C55 AMG Instrument Cluster
I just saw the C55 instrument cluster. Could I change out my C32 instrument cluster with the C55. Much cleaner look. I will ask my MB dealer later this week.

The dealer is probably right but not tellign you the whole story...
The dealer may be right as the dash display contains the odometer display. The odometer reading is likely stored in multiple locations and one of the might be in the dash display unit itself.
Nevertheless, you can still switch dashes. The dealer just needs to perform the proper service procedures, so that you don't get a bad odometer situation. There must be a specific procedure to switch dashes because they can break down.

Intresting, I was one of the first people to put the Facelifted Console in a C32, Would love to see what you have done, I been waiting to do the instrument cluster, as I would need to change the Steering wheel as well.
