C32 spark plug wires
The Magnecor wires are 8.5mm. I don't know what Evosport's wires are.
I am looking for Denso Iridium spark plugs for my C-32.
When I looked up the information from the internet, it suggested IK-16, but the local dealer in Hong Kong suggested IK-20. Please clarify which plug fits my car. Thank you for your help.

P.S. It's "Vomit" not "Vomin." "Vomin" sounds too much like "Vermin," which would be really unflattering. V-O-M-I-T!
I ordered the IK16 plugs, which appear to be the recommended plug for the C32. I don't know the diff with the IK20.

Because the local dealer told me we have Kompressor engine.
They are sure IK20 is for C32 AMG.

but they rated the "C320 AMG" and "SLK320 AMG" for the IK16 and the SLK230 for IK20... maybe when you told them kompressor engine they thought u meant the M111K motor.

I could be wrong.. but i believe the IK16 is the "hottest" Iridium plug sold by Denso.
BTW.. I'm using IK20's in my C32 and it runs like a champ.
IK20 is a "colder" plug than the IK16. This distinction is important because "boosted" engines use colder plugs to prevent pre-ignition. While the car will most likely run fine on IK16's, on a very hot day you may experience pinging and possibly engine damage. Also.. If the car senses pre-ignition, it may adjust itself to prevent damage. This could result in reduced performance.

Or you can install the NGK Iridium IX at half the price of the Denso's.
BKR5E1X-11 stock
BKR6E1X-11 one step colder
have you tried them??
I hope you like mid-level challenges... Getting the plugs in/out is a knuckle-buster - Especially on the right side.
And... Don't drop the spark plug socket! I did. It landed in one of the trays underneath the car. Big mistake.
Also.. Iridium plugs last for a long time. A friend told me at least 50k, perhaps longer. When I removed the stock Iridium plugs from my c32 at 20k they looked perfect. I really didnt need to change them. Since I already had the Denso's on hand and a free Saturday afternoon, I went ahead and switched all 12.
All I can say is that the 16 densos and/or the Magnecor's run very well in my car. I guess that I will try to granny shift it and take it a little easy on hot summer days
i duno.. what do you guys think??
