Harris, are you happy?

Well after driving no more then 2 months on my free Pirelli P7000's, I ordered Toyo T1-S all the way around yesterday. These stupid POS tires have ZERO traction. They were brand new when I got them and they have 2k miles on them now. Needless to say, I know why they discontinued these tires.

Harris gets all the credit. He told me that my first "mod" should be new tires. Well, happy now Harris?

I have heard nothing but bad things about the P7000s. I am on my 4th set of T1-Ss now. They are the best.

Haha.....j/k....well, there are T1-S haters, but overall, it is an extremely good tire.

Haven't tried PS2, was going to, but after looking at the price, I backed out. Everyone is giving high praise to it.

I have PS with stock wheels on my car right now, they are terrible comparing to the T1-S. The T1-S are MUCH MUCH MUCH better.

You will regret BIG TIME even if the P7000s are free. They are really the worst tire money can buy.

Darn! Sorry Harris. I didn't even think to contact you on the tires purchase . When it's time for some new HRE's, you know that I'm going through you. After I recover from the Euro COMMAND from Steve in late July, I'm comming to you for the Carbon Fiber Trim.

I've had T1S and I now have PS2.

The PS2 is worlds better in ride comfort...you almost forget the sporty nature of the car when driving normally.

Very firm sidewall, tons of grip, very hard to spin them off the line.

I recommend the PS2; they are worth the pennies. I got them on a special at Tire Rack and won't drive anything else.

PS2's rock. My 19" wheels with PS2's ride better than my stock 18" wheels on Bridgestone RE050's.

The PS2's stick like glue and are very quiet as well.

But how long do they last? The S-02 was an extremely grippy tire, too, but it lasted about 1/3 as long as the T1-S.

I'll let you know. So far, based on recollection, I am happier with the PS2 performance at this point in their life than I was with the T1S.

I will say that it is not a large margin. The amazing thing is just how much better the ride is on the PS2s..it makes the slightly higher performance from the PS2 THAT much more impressive.

The French cannot fight, but they can make a damn fine tire.

I get that a lot.

Pony up the extra bucks once and give them a try.

They don't have the cool tread pattern of the T1S, I'll say that...and the sidewall is *really* tacky with all the different fonts and designs.

But when rubber meets road? Damn.

Call me when you get faster off the line.

Or, when you get your ********* back from your fiance.

I suspect the latter shall occur before the former.
