RENNtech spring guys where r u? help needed.

few question to the guys using the RENNtech springs. I just got some RENNtech springs.

1. what spring pads did you guys use for the best ride height (pic would help too)? I'm trying to decide the overall ride height.

2. does the springs ever have any sort of label/mark printed on the springs itself? I got the set from another C32 owner. I believe he sent me the right ones, but I just want to make sure since he didn't use the original box (if there was one).

The RENNtech springs do not lower the rear of the car that much. Depending on spring pad, expect 0"-.25" in the rear, and about 1.5" in the front. Stick with your existing rear pads for now unless you want a lower look. The pad number should be embossed on the pad itself for referrence.

thanks for the response.

also do you know if there's anything suppose to be printed on the springs itself? like a RENNtech label of some sort? or is it just painted w/ blk paint.

They are just black, no labels. They look very generic, this is good for the MBZ dealer mechanics that are looking for mods lately.

You probably have a #3 pad in now, I suggest a #1 pad in rear which is a little lower. But you may need to reconsider if your rear wheels already rub slightly.

I am glad to see so many RENNtech spring upgrades. They really are a great match to the stock AMG dampers.

Are the Renntech springs just the European AMG springs? Seems like I have read that somplace but I am unsure.

It's just the same set of springs being sold from one owner to the next
No new sets sold in a long time

you renntech spring just like mentioned before are very generic looking. Contrary to what a previous poster mentioned, my car dropped a lot more then .25" and the front dropped about 1.5" giving the car the perfect look and not that unbalanced front fender gap is more then the rear. If you take your VIN number to your Dealer's parts dept. he will be able to tell what DOT pads you have in the rear.. from there you can judge accordingly. I had DOT 1 pads on my car which is the lowest you can get from factory and the car is dropped nice. No rubbing even with three adults in the rear and 19x10s.

Without changing the springs pads, the RENNtech springs should give you about the same rear ride height as I have observed on one car. If you started with thick pads, your ride height will be higher than if you started with thin pads. You cannot get these springs to ride as low as the H&R's in the rear regardless of the spring pad used.
