1/4 mile times
Tips.....I'm not a good source! Still a rookie!

Also, what happened to Norm's C32?
Also, what octane were you running? You will lose a lot of power at high RPMs with 91 octane (I notice that my car pulls hard right to the shift point on 93+ octane, but seems to sort of die of asthma at 5800 RPM with 91 octane). Try better fuel next time. Add some Toluene.
Also, there is the weight issue. Remove your spare and any other removable weight. Run with 1/4 to 1/2 tank of gas (saves up to 100 lbs versus a full tank).
Finally, what was the temp out? By my calcs, the C32 loses roughly 0.1 second in the quarter for every 10 degrees farenheit increase in ambient temperature.
Lastly, don't get discouraged. Your car will vary a lot from day-to-day, and your times will definitely improve with experience!

The only other time I hit the drag strip (MIR in Southern Maryland) it was much cooler. My best was 13.4 at 105 with a 2.0 60 ft time on the OE Michelin Pilots.

I have run at Carlsbad Raceway (now closed. . . R.I.P.) with a few other C32 owners (some stock, some modded), and your stock time is a better than average, with your stock trap speed a little worse than average. It sounds to me like you are probably getting a solid launch, but either weight or HP is letting you down. Are you carrying a spare? Full gas?
Especially if you already have some significant mileage on your car, I would try a couple of simple, inexpensive mods (all of which I have done, and can vouch for): Optima battery, K&N filters, Denso Iridium plugs, Magnecor wires. This group of mods will cost you roughly $500.00, and I would be very surprised if you didn't see a noticeable improvement in your 1/4 times/speeds.
Also, keep an eye on barometric pressure. Supercharged engines suffer when pressure drops (I think that I am correct on this one, but feel free to roast me if I am not!)

my cousins got the same exact car with the RENNTech ECU and Pulley kit alone at Moroso in about 68 degree weather... he was pulling 12.8 @ 110mph on nearly bald pirellis at the track about almost year ago but we havnt been back to the track since..on the same night i was pulling 14.7 @ 95mph in my ML55 (renntech CF airbox and ECU upgrade but with heavy heavy 20" carlsson wheels and full sound system in back)!!!
I havnt had a chance to take my C32 to the track with all the rain taht has been comming through here lately, I have ECU, Pulley kit, and SL55 intake splitter as far as engine mods go!!!

Good to hear from you. Hope all is well.
Been busy brokering pain. But, you know me, can't resist drag. :v Actually, seems like all the C32 freaks are neutered now that the big, bad C55 has come along. I still haven't seen one on the road. I can't wait to fart some C32 supercharger exhaust on the windshield of some unsuspecting, overpaying C55 owner.
S.D. Union Trib a few weeks ago. . . article said that Carlsbad Raceway was latest victim of encroaching housing development, and was closing for good. So now, where do San Diegans go for racing? Any ideas? Isn't there a strip up there? Let's get a drag race day organized.

This would require a complete rehash of many threads discussing these mods. Click on "Search" on the blue bar above, and search the C32 forum for each of these terms: 'Optima' and 'Magnecor' and 'Iridium' and 'K&N'. Each of these mods is described in one post or another, along with phone numbers or websites where the items can be purchased. After you decide what you want to purchase, you can search these terms with your regular internet search engine, and you will find retailers.
If you really get stuck on one or more of the products, let me know and I will get off my lazy **** and do the research (again) as to part #'s and retailers.
As for barometric pressure, you can buy a barometer at Wal Mart, Sears, Frys, etc.
Good luck.
I think Vomit's suggestions on mods are good and should help and are fairly inexpensive, also I saw Pierre32///AMG do a mod on his airbox with thermotec tape, that should help as well as that airbox gets heated up by the engine and exhaust.
With my mods (chip and Pulley) the car is running pretty consistent 13.3 with traction being the problem haven't, broken into the 12's yet
But I did some rough calculations on gear ratios and found that the C32 shifts from 3-4 very near the end of the 1/4 mile at about 106 mph. Which I did notice on my last few runs. Next time out to the track I am going to see if short shifting 3rd at about 95 will help my trap speed a little or ET
I heard that the Renntech slk32 with the 3.8 conversion not break into the twelves, but a higher/lower ratio (~2.80:1) would make a difference in its 1/4 mile times.

A freind of mine runned a 13.03 in his M5 with no Cats...and bold tyres...I did do any runs as well...We have no drag strips....
Some people on M5board seem to be able to 12.73-12.80's...with stock M5...
What they did is 1st to let the car to cool down for 2 hour the make a run....
be possible if his M5 runs slicks...

I was also running Pilot Cups, 255/40-17s in the rear, but SO3s on the front. I guess I'll have to consider that my car is always a few tenths slower in the quarter mile than most C32s. I'll compensate with consistent 26-27 mpg on the highway that most of you guys don't get.
