More Strange audio problems
Has any c55 owners have static when they turn on their radio/cd/cd changer right when they start their car? I get htis sometimes, and in order to fix it, i ahve to completely shut down the car, take out the key, and turn it on. Sometimes it takes a few tries.. just wondering if anyone else had this problem?

Yes, I had this problem. The static was blaring at full volume on mine when this happened intermittently. The dealer advised it was a software problem and downloaded new software. Apparently MB is aware of the problem. Its been a month with no further problems.

I had the exact same problem (static at full volume when I started the car) one time. It has not happened since.
The rear speaker(s) still rattle when the radio (but not the CD) is at moderately high volumes.

MORE PROBLEMS:
Car won't start when i turn the key.. solution: take out key, try again
Driver side top left of window doesn't seem to stick, can hear the air coming in
Turning the steering wheel completely right and then reversing while straightening the car makes a real nasty noise

yeah the static thing happened to me, pretty much like the 3 day of ownership, has happened twice since, i did the upgrade that you guys are talking about, and since has solved the problem. Although, i still get the issue of no sound when starting the car periodically, when the stereo still reads "on." The last things that happens is the "acquiring" with SAT. I guess it's good that car runs well, and it's just audio problems...

Does it make a sound like a Boeing 747 applying the brakes while taxiing? If so then the same things happens to me...

Yup it happened to me and i thought it wasn’t going to go away. I came back to my car like 5 hours later started it and it cleared up. It was on the radio, CD player and Aux port. I’m guessing software issue or maybe even hardware. It only happened once.
