vibration when braking

I am experience a little vibration when braking hard from about 70 or higher. Im wondering what the problem could be. Im thinking the rotors are warped. Would it most likely be the warping of the front rotors causing the problem or the rear? I want to get some feed back before i take it to the delaership they are going to charge 300 with labor included to change the front rotors with new pads only because a close friend of mine works as a tech there. thanks any help would be appreciated.

Your front dics are warped. Pay the $300, that's a good deal for front dics and pads installed.

It is possible that the rotor is not warped, and that pad material has built up in spots, causing that "vibration". I reccomend taking a straightedge and setting it across the face of the rotor in several places. If it is warped you will see a definite variation.

i agree, i think its pad build up, you can try re-bedding the pads.

Talking

i finally got the front rotors and pads replaced i still feel a vibration when braking at high speeds could something be loose with the suspension or could the wheels not be balanced there is no vibration on the steering wheel
when braking and all the pressure is distributed to the front is when i feel this vibration i will take it to the dealer tomorrow but was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem thanks in advance

The first thing I would have checked was wheel bend/balance problems. If that didn't cure it, I would have asked the dealer to inspect the suspension components. I hope you didn't replace front rotors and pads if they didn't need to be changed. That's something they could have checked. However, if you just went in and requested front rotors and pads, I'm sure they were happy to oblige.
