I happen to like it. Although I think I see myself in a RS3 if it comes to states.
Has pricing, engine, etc...been released on the RS4 as of late?

0-100kmph in 4.8 sec? That's pretty damn fast. I wonder what 0-60 will be? Maybe 4.5 or so.

Hate to break it to you benz boys. Im a die hard Mercedes fan by all means but I would take this RS4 over the C55 and possibly the E55. Its agressive styling and interior is perfect. The engine is also amazing, Just imagine all the mods that will be out for this car once it hits the u.s market.

that is just about the 0-60. 4.8 maybe a 4.7. Personally though, yes the car has agressive styling and all, but its still an AUDI, and an AUDI will never be a BMW or a Mercedes. I think i would much rather have the new M3 which will be atleast 200 lbs less than this and may have the same or 10 hp less than this RS4. THIS IS THE RS4 too, not the S4 this is the ultimate version of the RedBadge 4, if the new M3 can do that againest this, imagine what a CSL will do to it. Also i think id rather have a AMG C-Class over this too because i hate the red interior of AUDIs, and the fact it looks like a VW on the inside. Thats just my opinion though so dont flame me.

Audi is always conservative with their figures... I'm guessing 0-60 in 4.3-4.4 second range...

Eric...

Only thing going against it is not enough torque 430 Nm = 316 lb-ft. Compare with the C55 and you'll know what I mean...

i found from motortrend.

"2005 Audi RS4 : The RS4 is expected to outshine the radical S4 with a biturbo 4.2-liter/450-horsepower V-8."

Judging from some specs I'm hearing, I wouldn't be so certain about the C55's capabilities. About torque winning races, I believe it would depend on the type of race and other factors as well.

No flaming here. Just wondering why you think Audi is nowhere near the league of Merc or BMW? I own both the C55 and the A4 - I think that Audi is still lacking in the customer service side, but their cars are on par or better than Merc's in some cases.

I think it all depends on pricing in this case. If the RS4 is priced above 70k - that's too much. If its' below well then its going to be a winner.

Why does it only do 0-60 in 4.8, kind of slow for that much power no?

from what i have seen personally, AUDIs usually dont hold their values as well as the mercs or Bimmers. 2001 S4s are selling at about the same price as 98/99 M3s. Also while i do enjoy AUDIs interior, my friends parents have an A6 and my friends neighbor has an RS6, i feel that they use to much red, and that their interior reminds me of volkswagen. I do not blame AUDI for this, but i blame VW AG in general. VW tends to do cookie cutter things with their companies and i feel that the RS model AUDIs will be cookie cutted out to VWs, Seats and everything else VW owns. Just like Lambos V10 is bieng used in the next RS6, and a few other vehicles.

Love the interior, especially the steering wheel. But the exterior is just yuck! The current model looks much better imo.

that old rs6 was pretty damn nice. too bad so many of audi's cars are quite heavy.

is it just me or do many auto makes have issues with their a$$es? just can't seem to shape it properly. take a look at bmw.. and this b7 butt is bleh... fronts never seem to be too bad... it's always the rear end...

i don't see a nav system in there.. wasn't that the complaint on the b6..psuedo nav crap they have? or is it hidden in the middle of the instrument cluster?
