sorry to hijack this thread, however, I called 3 separate times in the last 3 weeks and left my phone number all 3 times with a Kronen employee who was supposed to get back to me about a CL-style grill for my W208.
I finally gave up and bought it from another sponsor of this forum.
With that type of poor customer service, you will find it extremely difficult to sell product to any local customer.

There's a guy back east working on a CF engine cover for me. I wonder if we could convince him to fabricate a lip too. It wouldn't be as easy since there's no source for a mold, but he does a lot of custom work and could probably pull it off. I'll ping him today.

I've conveyed the message. The question being asked is if there's a style or existing part we like that it could be modeled after. For example, are we looking for an older Evo style or something more like the new C32/55 front lip?
Myself, I'm thinking something subtle and not too low since the front scrapes occasionally as it is.

In my PM, I gave him another chance to make up for his employees screw ups and asked him to give me a price quote on some I-forged, DPE, DCR, or HRE rims. I didn't include my e-mail address, but anybody can click on my user info and ALL my contact info is listed.
Anyways, he PM'd me back and asked for my e-mail addy, which I told him he could find under my user ID, AND I also included my e-mail addy in the PM as well.
It has been 3 days now, and I've heard absolutely NOTHING from him.

FWIW: I had my pulley kit installed by Kronen and purchased my RENNtech parts from them. Never had any communication issues, the pricing was fair and the service excellent.

I actually received a call from Art, the owner of Kronen, and he invited me over to the shop. When I got there, I realized that I knew Art from when I had my CLK430 a few years back. At his old shop, I actually bought my first set of 19" Lorinser LM-1's, and he also lowered my car w/ H&R's and bilsteins.
When I was there today, Art actually gave me some great price quotes on a Renntech stage 2 supercharger kit, which I'm probably going to get installed in a few weeks.......so the rims will have to wait a bit.
Anyways, I am posting this because I wanted to clear up my previous post due to a few misunderstandings. I can highly recommend Art and Kronen Tuning, as I have done business w/ Art before, and he has given me great prices and great customer service =)
