More stupidity from SDR - CF engine cover
I ordered this quite awhile ago and it finally arrived. I'm sure I've added a few more MPH with it due to the lightening of my wallet
This new piece is just the engine cover - the CF airbox was done some time ago. I think they look pretty darn good together. If anyone else wants one let me know and I can put you in contact with the guy. Otherwise feel free to point and laugh.

That rear half is a RENNtech CF airbox that I bought with a tuned ECU. I don't know how much the box alone would be, but I'd guess a couple grand from RENNtech. You could probably have the upper half fabricated just like stock, but in CF for about 500-750.

the renntech tuned ecu,how much HP/TQ are they rated? the reason I ask is that there's one for sale for a clk 430,600.00usd. nice air box cover!!!

Don't have a Mercedes right now...
Airbox looks nice but it is missing the Mercedes emblem and AMG leters

All in fun bud.

Just haven't replaced the logo work yet. I'm thinking something like brushed aluminum instead of chrome this time.

I've seen the stats on that RennTech box+ECU, but how does it feel?

Does it FEEL like almost 10% more power?
