Twin Turbo C36
Just thought I'd let everyone know that the new owner of this famous C36 lives in Freeport L.I now. He has since built up the bottom end and has put a huge Single turbo on the car. The motor is a bored out 2.8 displacing 3.5L because he could not source the 3.6L blck which got damaged.

That is great. So happy to see another 202 getting good treatment. As these cars get older and a little more accessable I think we will see more and more getting built up. I read about this car a few months ago and I'm dying to learn more about it.

I will get some this wknd.
I will also be trying to install the headers this wknd.
Anyway this car is a beauty. It has alot of updated mods and it put down 468whp @18psi with a RICH tune! At 25 psi and perfect tuning car should put out no less than 550whp.
There is also another silver TT C36 built that put down 366whp @ only 7psi
with a Rich tune. This setup(Silver car) should put out the same or more whp than the black car at the same amt of boost once perfectly tune. Stay tuned for the pics of both cars as they are both owned by friends of mine locally. They will be featured at Captree.
I think the AMG car's were all ahead of their time IMOP.
I will also be trying to install the headers this wknd.

This happened with the turbo charger.
By the way I have heard of the C36's having problems with head gaskets N/A as well.

Wow. Those are some impressive numbers. I got 342whp @ 4psi with my S/C and it's a V8. With my setup I'm kinda limited to about 6lbs which I know wouldn't get me to 468whp either let alone 550whp
I've thought about switching to a centrificul S/C a few times like GregC did in his HPS CLK. I know you can build more boost with less heat but they spool up like a turbo. I'm just wondering what the ceiling is with my current setup....without a little happy gas I don't see myself ever making even 500whp. I wish there was a turbo kit that could be wedged into my car.
Can't wait to see these cars. If someone got a C36 turbo to lay down a healthy and safe 600whp I would sell my car and build one. Some wrinkle wall slicks and that thing would rip 10's while playing with the radio!

02 CLK 55 AMG,09 C63 loaded with P30
I don't have any oil leak so I think the gaskets are fine. Maybe the previous owner changed it. Because I wonder why there are no sweating in the gaskets on a 12yr car with 90k+miles. Also the coolant is yellowish the way its suppose to be(MB brand).

Spoke to Jeffrey yesterday about his car and unfortunately he told me the insurance company has totalled it. He is looking for another C36 body to install his motor and tranny in. I can still get pics of Ralstons Twin turbo C36 staytuned as I'm also still working on my C43.

He also will probably be putting up the C36 skirts ,Front and rear bumpers up for sale as he likes the C43 bumpers and spoilers much better. That's what he had on project C36 turbo b4, the C43 externals. I guess now I'll have a silver inline 6 turbocharged twin.

Very Slow Mercedes
