well, his grill says C23 if you look closer... maybe it's a tuner version of the C230, or something else?

Here's another thread that talks about it:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c55-amg-w203/163679-c23-c230k.html

... the posters there are just as confused.

202's are great. I've played with the idea of buying a 2nd 202, probably another 43...Take good car of the 43, they aren't making any more. Keep it simple too! It will always look good.

hehe, no i never said a c23 amg right? i say c23 just like this, of course it's a c230 kompressor..never been ANY c23 amg, seriously, and there is 0 amg badge or logo or anything like it on my w202 c230 kompressor.

but yes having two 202 is awesome, especially when you are young lol

Very happy hehe,
I guess no luck on the E55 search eh?

Can't go wrong with a 50k miles 1999 C43.

Congratulations! and good luck with that car. With some TLC you'll enjoy
the most out of it.

Did you have to import it from the US?

Time to do some

Great looking car vOac - looks just like mine only a little lower. They look so much better lowered.

Nice find with 50K miles. I've got you beat though - only 38K on mine.

You will love the C43 motor. They are a rocket over 3K rpms. Treat her with respect and keep her stock. If you want a drag car - buy a Camaro. (my opinion only)

Nice neighbourhood yea. I doubt it's his house, probably living with his parents.
Insurance premium alone would kill him for a 21 y.o. male.

But, nevertheless, nice cars.

You guys either have a driving record or need to shop around. I'm paying just over 600 a year on mine and I'm 22. I got that quote right after I got a 1200 quote, so it definitely pays to call around. (Same goes for replacing a windshield...don't ask how I have so much experience) I do store mine in a garage though, so I'm not sure whether that had any effect and I live in a quiet neighborhood.

New C43 looks good. A little low for me, but I like. Enjoy her.

Hehe thanks for the good comments guys !
Yes enjoying her alot, starting maintance already.
Did alot so far. gotta keep an amg like brand new

No this isn't my house, it's my mommy house.
i'm not a drug dealer lol. insurance isn't bad for my age, c230 is 500$ a year and c43 750$ a year, very cheap ( with all mods include, both side )
some friends pay more for a honda civic

Lots of mod done to the w202 c230, but planning on keeping the c43 stock for now. will bring her on track soon !

Peace !

Well I am under my own name with insurance and not my parents, I have my deductibles maxed, full coverage, and I've never been pulled over and its still quite pricey to insure.

+1 I hear you on that man. Good choice.

Also, v0ac is in Montreal, Canada so I have a very good idea how much the
premiums are.

it was same as c43,
H&R springs on both, but c230 is on number 4 pads all round, clean drop. not too low since of rieger lips

c43 is on number 1 pads all around, no rubbing but very low
