Info needed for c55 install?
I drive a 99 c43 and I love the car .I now will like to do the engine swap and then install the hps2,But I don't know exactly what extrs parts and what mods.eg{ecu}and engine mounts I know a few have already done the change I will like to do it and post it in detail for others. Also any particular model to get the engine from 1999 to 2002 cl55 ml55 s55 and so on? of are they all the same? even if someone has contact for the engine will be greatly appriceated.

if i had to start over (or hadn't gotten the gen I for a song) i'd just build it custom with a centrifugal... I recently sold a guy the gen I sc bracket so he could do this himself.
My gen I kit will have me on the right track when i want to swap to a centrifugal and/or the "55" (not sure which will come first)
if you're referring to me not knowing how he has made his gen II kit work? who cares, unless the op will have the same improvements...

maybe i should be recommending the op purchases something where the only person i've heard of having success with it- won't share how... why not just say what you changed?
i'll gladly list and chronicle the changes i've made and plan to make to the gen I kit to help others...

It's a superior setup in theory also vs the Gen I kit. Not to mention that this is the only kit that can work well on a 5.5L motored car.
So if you go 5.5L in the future, either consult Mike if you go with a positive displ setup. If I were to go centrifugal I would consult with Greg C(CLK55) for a centrifugal setup.Your setup will only wrk well on the 4.3L which does seem to give very good results, but not great on the 5.5L without further modding the Gen I as was proved by E55cent.
Go HPS gen II modded/consulted by Mike and you'll see even more of an improvement.
obviously, the gen II is a better idea in theory (hence virtually every other charger on any other car EVER being done that way)
that said, the gen II kit had bugs beyond belief and it's been well documented- unless he cares to share how he fixed the kit the kit is basically useless to the op.
after all that- he has his dyno numbers in his sig. I'll race his SL with my Gen I kit this year after my tweaks and be suprised if i lose... It won't be because the Gen I kit is a better idea though.

Boy you're a testy one. Relax! Who called you a dummy?

Here is a statement from you:
And all I'm doing is addressing your statement and mentioning how Mike has improved the HPS Gen II kit which makes it live up to the hype!

By the way here is the thread and dyno of Josk k's CLK430 centrifugal kit:

Greg C (CLK55 centrifugal dyno) and thread:

Gen II HPS modded by Mike on 5.0L motor 398whp 384wtq vs 380whp on Greg's 5.5l motor wuth the powerdyne setup on Greg C's CLK55.
Sorry to get off topic some but I really psoted this also for my purposes.
Silence I would love to see how all three setups compare as soon as u can post a dyno. I think this would all be interesting to see.
Mike I hope I find a gen 2 kit quick!!

Unfortunately the Gen I kit kills the 5.5L motor as seen in Greg C's HPS example on the graph. Josh K is making more HP with the CLK430 vs Greg with the HPS Gen I setup.

My car is going back to the tuner tomorrow, it's getting retuned with 1 more lb of boost, so my dyno should look different by next week.
