I like the idea you are working on with the covers in the engine compartment. Are you planning a custom engine cover as well? Some of the other mods are not my taste but thats what makes this hobby interesting.

I will do custom cover- but i'm waiting until i put my huge intercooler core up there (i'm doing an air-water set-up) before i design it.

thanks

I don't like the Kompressor badge on the dash, but I like the other stuff. I'll be interested to see how the covers turn out.

99% decided the kompressor is coming off the dash- i'll just buy another C43 badge and use that "k" to make the supercharger cover piece (that hides the hps logo) match the rear badge.

thanks guys

as for the side pieces- if i ever got the car out of my driveway i'd throw them on... there will be plenty of pictures from shows this summer too

Sorry dude, not really feeling any of it.....looks like you are ruining a perfectly good C43 with a lot of mods that you will probably regret later if you ever try to resell (I know, it seems like an impossibility now, but things can change). That is of course w/ the exception of your blower which I am jealous of Oh yeah, I like the wheels too

What about the HVAC controls??

I would ditch the kompressor label too. Nice tunes by the way.

....didn't forget about that engine cover either, haven't had a minute to myself since you asked.

Is that a TV hangiing from the decklid?? If so I never really understood why people do that. Really like the rest of the car. Looks great. Love the charger!

hvac is in the glovebox- fairly straight forward thing to do and basically easy enough to use over there.

flynavy- it's the blower actually that so far as i'm concerned has given me more or less free reign to start modding the rest. that said, nothing from the stereo can't come back out fairly easily (i have been careful to keep it that way)- I WOULD need to replace the trunk liner pieces, the front door speaker grilles, and the main dash bezel though. But honestly though the minute i put the blower on this car the value went down to effectively $0 so far as i'm concerned. It's going to have over 100k miles on it and an aftermarket supercharger... not a good combination for resale. That said, for the kind of money i'd hope to sell it for at this point if i ever had to/wanted to i'll be able to sell to someone who actually loves the modifications (be it a younger kid or whatever). I'd be worried if it were a $30k+ collectors item kind of thing but our values are so low anyways i figure i got nothing to lose.

about the tv- Last week i was talking to my girlfriend about my car show schedule and a few other details etc. (i will spend at least 4 full long weekends and 15 other days at car shows this summer- at most of which the focus will be the stereo, which might help explain why i installed it...) I simply put the screen in the back in the car to keep her and my other guests etc. entertained. the screen will be used almost as many hrs as the car will be driven... I think my other option would have ended up being her sitting in the car watching that new pioneer deck and generally messing up my "show display". Plus total that screen only added about 5 lbs and it doesn't look all that bad.

ooh- i would sell my wheels and tires for $2200 shipped

they are in 9/10 condition wheels wise and the tires are the kdw II nt bfg's with essentially 0 miles on them in 225/40/18 and 255/35/18.

Other than that like the engine carbon fiber idea.
