mostly all custom stuff up there
i can post details/help if anyone is interested in doing the same or similar.
My IATs stay within 30 of ambient almost always and within 20 or so while moving.
here are a couple other quick pics- still very excited about my camera

ah- i know the paint sucks, it's just the first coat as i just finished those covers about an hr before those pics were taken (literally painted them and went to the show)
really looking forward to getting that polished intake from wes and also painting the rest of my intake piping to match (the part that's painted had to be customized for the intercooler)

that looks great. More importantly it seems to work. I would still consider a meth/H20 kit pre blower to further reduce IATs and keep the blower cooler resulting in lower overall under hood temps.
I also like how you were able to keep the factory coolant tank. Is your PCV line vented to atmosphere? Assuming the line going to your TB is the tank vent...
Lastly, if shiny is all you want you can easily remove just the top cap of the manifold and have it polish and put back in a day. Its removing the lower case that involves tricks and work.
Thanks for posting those up.

i want shiny plus a bit more power if possible- definitely will still take that off your hands if you continue to be willing.
not exactly sure what the question is for the pcv- I have it basically vented. It seems that i get no oil into the intake (from when i've had things apart post blower while making the intercooler set-up)
i am excited about how the covers look and the potential they will have once everything is painted, detailed better and the random stuff is polished up etc. etc.
I think i'm going to run it for nitrous actually rather than adding more meth.- i haven't noticed any drop-offs in power so much and certainly with the way i drive it has time to cool down between bursts etc. etc. such that the intercooler is ready to really work when needed.

thanks! but more than anything thank Mercedes for building such a beautiful and custom looking vehicle from the factory! There aren't many vehicles that I can see enjoying as much aesthetically and performance wise with as little modification and $ invested.
