95 C36 front crash

hey guys

Hate to say but this weekend my wife crashed her much loved 1995 C36 red, We are looking for a new c36 so if anyone know where a silver or red one is please give a email ,
and also thinking what to do about the red one, it is a light front end hit , both fenders, hood bumper radiator support, still runs great , , was in perfect condition before the crash with updated head gaskets, new trans, new suspension etc...
would like ot see if anyone would like a 95 c36 complete to fix up for DTM look, or should we part out,
let me know what you think

thanks
dporsche74

Sorry to hear about that accident!
C36's are already rare as it is and another one biting the dust is such a pity...
What are the values nowadays for a clean C36 with 100k miles??

Are you sure

that is not a typo on your ad?
$5000?
The whole car in nice shape running with no body damage is a 5grand car.
Did you not mean to put $500
or some other reasonable figure.
Pull it apart and sell the pieces off ala carte 5grand

5k might be a little bit steep if the buyer has to do all the work of parting. $500 is a bit towards the opposite end of the reasonable range of prices however....

Someone

needs to haul it.Purchase a rear end total C36,back clip or front clip the whole thing paint it and then salvage title register it.That is more than a minor job and far exceeds the worth of the car.
Part it out.Someone looking for a nice 74k mile salvage title AMG running, registered in very nice shape .Could go to California and drive home a 98 C43 with 74k miles for $7,200 all work completed and in nice condition.
They would need to be a body man to take on the Red car.And no body man ,will touch it for $5K nor 4 or 3 you pick how low

sounds like airplane
It seems that even when repaired this car will be worth 4-4.5k

If it were closer I'd consider picking it up and parting it, but not for 5k

open to offers, i figured 5 K is reasonable considering the engine is very good condition rebult trans, perfect interior, new shocks and spring brakes etcc.. yes you can buy a salvage amg for under 6K but would you like to rip it apart for the amg parts,
this did not go thru insurance slavage and have clean title in hand
thanks

2013 E350 wagon cuprite brown; sold:2014 ML63; R500 Saks Edition; R500; more W124s than I can count
it is horrible...

i may be new to this forum but have had many benz's in the past. I am in the market right now to buy a c36 and there are several under 100k miles c36's currently for sale in the $7k range. why on earth would anyone spend $5k for a total loss that on carfax is going to come back as collision damage [salvage title or not] even if repaired? $2k for the car is reasonable but only to someone who wants the drivetrain for something else. there is $7-10k in damage for any qualified body shop to make it roadworthy; thus, the insurance company totalled it. they will only write to 60-70% of value before it totals...

Drop the engine into your 190E-16valve and mate it to your 5-speed tranny, and move over the rear diff from the C36. . .
