1999 C43
99 C43 just dies while driving
Hello All, I have a C43 that has run very well to date. Recently, ran out of fuel, filled it up ran another few miles and the car dies. Let it set for an hour and it starts and runs fine for a few miles and dies again. I replaced the fuel filter thinking it sucked up some trash in the tank. No difference. Still runs for a few miles and dies, let it set runs for a few miles, etc.

Any ideas? HELP!!!!!

happened to me too - you can test it with a heat gun and an ohmeter

Same thing happened to me on my Ducati. Kind of interesting how the crank sensor fails at operating temperature first on almost any application.
