I have an issue with my w202 supercharger.
I bought an oil thinking it was a supercharger oil not knowing it was a compressor oil, and I added it up to the supercharger

 

I would drain and replace with the appropriate oil, not unless both type of oils are similar but I'm not an oily specialist...

Found this really cool german video on youtube shoehorning a supercharged an M113K E55AMG super charged engine into a C43.
Germans can do it so can you.
This video is a real blast to watch, the final when the guys a test driving the C43 on Autobahn is really awesome.

This video has english subs, so if you're non-german speaking the language you can watch this video for 31 minutes.

 

That is one FANTASTIC video which clearly shows that a M113K can be made to work in a W202 environment.
However, it certainly doesn't look easy to do and way above most peoples skills. That said, I certainly would like to have one...

 

Mechanics had to take everything from the 55K car, engine, transmission, all relays, control units etc. etc. to make everything work.
It was fun when testdrivers made the ESP light flash on kickdown in high speed, this is a powerful car.

 

It consistently broke traction in third gear at 80mph. Holy ****.

Of course, cold road there and they said bad tires but you can see them at the start and they seem fine. They might have meant "summer tires in cold weather" bad tires.

 

Summer tires in cold weather stiffens the rubber in very low temps.
In Germany it's not allowed to use studded tires only M+S winter tires.

This car needs a proper LSD.
It was no cheap conversion for the owner of the car.
Stern Garage seem to be a top shop, they know what they are doing.

 

Yeah the LSD would be my first option to be installed when doing such a conversion. I wonder why they didn't to it
Also, I wonder how much all this project cost the owner. May have had to sell a kidney or two....

 

Owner of the vehicle is probably not a member here?
Buying an LSD is not cheap, perhaps this will be a future mod for the owner if he wants to use all the torque on the ground?
Losing traction could be fatal in a monster car.

 

An LSD would be cheaper than literally all the different jobs they just did on that car. Even on the high end, a wavetrac of quaiffe w202 LSD is $1,200 and is a direct swap into the existing diff.

 

Wow, makes me want to keep my C43 and drop a 55 Motor in it.
