Traction Control acting odd

alright so i bought some new tires for my C36 and put on monoblocks rather than clk style amg wheels
my problem is: the traction control comes on and cuts my power at the strangest times and it is really annoying. it comes on in wide turns at a normal speed ( not like im taking it wildly) , when the road becomes a little rough, and the oddest is when i am on the onramp leading to the freeway and it comes on between 55-65 mph ( sometimes it wont let me go any faster to get past the 55-65 speed so i will have to take my foot off the gas turn traction off then on again then i have to get past 65 mph)
the tire pressure is perfect and the tires are fitted correctly
so is there anything i can do?

Tires are either really bad or you need alignment and check your suspension. I had it happen to me a few times.

Maybe u just ran over some oil or something too

Could also be the electronic throttle actuator acting funky. The wiring on these also seemed to be subject to the common engine wiring harness degration.

Are the tires staggered? C36s have ASR, right?

The ASR light in the middle of the speedo. When you have wheel slip it blinks and cuts power, mine blinks like a disco light

in the c36 the ASR is setup for front tires having slightly larger diameter than the rear, so if ur not running the propper sizes / ratio it might be the cause.

Ill still bet anything your alignment is messed up

Just recently my car started doing this on freeway on ramps. Normally I like to rail those but lately I cant coz if I push it even slightly my front starts understeering pretty bad and the light starts blinking on me crazy

Did you do alignment after installing new tires?

Maybe the falkens are waaay off, not all manufactures tires are same as the rest of the industry. I dunno, could be some electrical gremlin but if this happened right after putting the tires on id be inclined to suspect them. anyone else close by you can swap wheels with to test it out?

Before you get the alignment and start spending, why not put back the set of old wheels you were using before the ASR light started blinking, and test it on the ramp and see if the ASR blinks? If not, it's the new set of wheels (Monos) that is the problem.
