H&R problem

so i want some H&R springs for my 96 C36
the problem is on the website:
it says C36...94-95
C43...96-00

??
i have a 96 C36 so can someone go on http://hrsprings.com/scripts/appguid...ind3&MakeID=25
and look at what im talking about and help me on choosing which i need because there is a difference in sizes

also should i get the sway bar as well?

theyre using euro years. for 97 the springs themselves changed from a flat top to a complete coil. pick anyone for 96 and under, or in this case, 95 and under.

sway bar is only 1mm thicker at least on my car is was, 27 vs 28mm, not worth it imho.

What does the code 8 mean next to the reference year??

Looking at the C36 info line next to the years suitable for the model, you have a little 8 which is obviously a reference you can find at the end of the complete list. As you just show the relevant page, can't see the list of references. Hope it's clear

i see an 8 and i clicked on it
its just a footnote saying "Mercedes-Benz cars ride height may vary due to vehicle options and Mercedes-Benz factory ride height adjustment shims. This original-MB-Part is a rubber shim perch, which is located on the top of the spring. These shims vary in thickness from 8 to 23mm."

so nothing important apart from mentioning the possibility of fine tuning the final height you feel best with.
